Welcome to the drywall and stucco repair section of our renovation and repair operations for our local area of Fort Myers, Gateway, and Estero
There are many situations in which homeowners find themselves in need of drywall repair service, from accidental damage to mold growth, to old screw holes. We fix sections of any size, and recreate wall textures of all kinds as well as provide a perfect match paint colors for the final finishing step.
Our professionals use the construction industry standards of drywall repair by adding high quality drywall in replacement of damaged areas and secure them to the same integrity as the rest of the surrounding walls.

The strength of the outside of a home is important in withstanding the natural elements over the years. and our stucco repair materials and process are guaranteed to hold up to the test of time for as long as the rest of the exterior stucco on your home.

Our drywall repair process
First we identify the area in which the repair is needed. In the case of a large hole, we would need to cut out a perfect square around the damaged area using a spirit level to trace accurate sides that are parallel to the ceiling and adjacent wall corner
Next, we use an oscillating blade or razor knife (depending on if there is electrical or plumbing behind the wall) to cut thoroughly into the drywall along the traced edges and open up the complete square
Once we have the open wall, we must use a tool called a drywall square to create our dimensions for the new drywall as well as create a backer board behind the drywall
Then we replace the the open wall with half-inch drywall for interior walls or 5/8 inch for areas that require fire-code drywall and secure fiberglass drywall tape along the perimeter
After, we create joint compound mix and professionally adhere it to the drywall in a thin layer. We must 12-24 hours until we apply a second coat of joint compound, after then we finely sand the compound with proper personal protection equipment as drywall dust is toxic to inhale in close proximity. Then re apply another layer, with our skill and experience, we are able to create a seamless second layer.
6. We repeat this process into the 3rd day until it is suitable to “finish” the drywall. Drywall finishing is a very meticulous and intensive process. This is the part where we create the texturing style that matches the rest of your home. There are a many types of texturing that we are able to recreate using a construction grade hopper.
7. Once time has passed and the texturing has dried, we are finally able to paint using the paint sheen that matches the interior and finding a paint match.
